The Con: Identity theft is possibly the most sophisticated con a hustler can pull off. This in turn makes it one of the most difficult to prevent. This article should open you're eyes to how easy you can lose you identity and what effects it can have on your life.

 

The Con: This is a great scam for you little, weedy looking guys, or girls to try out on unsuspecting guys. How did we come across this particular hustle? My girlfriend did it to me and I fell for it hook line and sinker - to the tune of £20.

 

The Con: Imagine you're in a bar with a friend and you need money to get a couple of drinks. This is the simplest way to get it.. no betting. Just offer your friend something they can't refuse.

 

The Con: An unsuspected mark pays a hustler with a cheque. It all seems legit so the mark waits for the cheque to clear. Things arn't quite what they seem when he checks his bank statement.

 

The con: You've won the lottery!.. or so you think.

 

 

The Con: Hustlers illegaly sub-let properties to foreign students/workers by acting as the landlord and quicky make off with a tidy profit.

 

 

The con: The hustlers steal expensive items by manipulating the refund system in a busy shop.

 

 

The con: Although a rarity these days, you should look out for fairground scams such as this. This is a scam involving balloons half full of air and blunt darts - so you have very little chance of winning anything!

 

The con: Jam Auctions involve “jamming” a big crowd into a confined space. They are then offered small items for little money, which is then given back to them. They keep offering a "Bargain of a lifetime" but the hustlers end up taking £20 from each member of the crowd and shutting up and leaving before that bargain comes.

 

 

The con: This con involves very little work - but with high rewards for the conman. By quickly switching padlocks, this gym user loses all his belongings.
